About Us
Peeling paint, faded siding, and water stains make your home look tired and open the door to rot and mould. We fix this with careful prep, tight lines, and durable coatings as your interior house painter, exterior house painter, and roof painter in Dunedin, and Dunedin House Painters handles it start to finish.
Our crew has many years painting homes in Dunedin. We test moisture, repair failing caulking, use the right primers, back roll where the surface demands it, offer low volatile organic compound options, and keep you posted daily, and we’re licensed, insured, and trained to work safely on ladders and roofs.
You get clear pricing, steady updates, and start and finish dates that we keep. We protect plants, floors, and furniture with full coverings, use low volatile organic compound paints inside, and back the work with a written workmanship warranty.
Inside, we patch, sand, and prime stains, we scuff glossy trim so enamel sticks, and we choose the right sheen for traffic areas so walls clean up without flashing, which keeps rooms looking fresh longer. Outside, we pressure wash, treat mildew, scrape and spot prime bare areas, caulk joints with flexible sealant, spray and back roll for even coverage, and we only paint when surfaces are dry and temperatures stay above about fifty degrees, and for roofs we deep clean, treat rust, use bonding primers, and apply reflective or high build topcoats to help seal, cool, and extend roof life, because skipping any of these steps is the fastest path to peeling, leaks, and wasted money.
Most paint jobs fail from rushing prep, painting over chalk, picking the wrong primer, or painting in direct sun or near the dew point, and that leads to peeling within a season, mildew growth, and wood rot, so we plan the weather window and product match before we open a can.
